Call me a grinch, but I hate wrapping Christmas gifts. Also I stink at it, so that’s kind of a lethal combo. Gift bags rule over here at my house. But the Little bee came up with the (awesomest ever) idea of leaving some of her old toys under the tree for Santa to take when he comes down our chimney. What? An opportunity for my child to willingly part with some toys! I’ll take it. Those toys, of course, needed to be wrapped with the added bonus of decreasing the chance of the little people looking at them and changing their minds, so we got busy. This was a pretty simple project, so I’ll just let the pics speak for themselves.
Just roll out the kraft paper, bust out the cookie cutters, and bring on the glitter glue!
I used some red and green baker’s twine to complete the package. The little Bee threw in an ornament that she wanted to give to Santa, and both little girls decided to give him all the broken candy canes. How generous of them.
Stay tuned all this week for more fun Christmas wrapping ideas from the whole Junk in the Trunk blog team!
Happy Wrapping!
