Personal bio: We are a husband & wife team born, raised & based in Southern California, specializing in vintage style graphic wall art. Our goal is to create art that is personal. We want to take our customer on a journey from the memories of their past, to fit perfectly into the lifestyle of their present. We reinvent, recreate and reproduce art with the purpose of making spaces come alive with unique, distinctive character and personality.
How did you start your business & why? Ron & Tamara are both in the design industry and we started this adventure as a creative outlet for our own home and style. Our passion for roaming America and beyond, through antique shops, estate sales, and other vintage venues turned in to a hunt for interesting found objects and inspiration. An old roll-stop transit sign from the 30’s inspired us to recreate our own sign using the destinations from our honeymoon in Italy and the rest is history!
How would you best describe your style and the items you sell? Coastal Cabin is our theme, and our booth will reflect a lifestyle that combines vintage, re purposed items that convey an eclectic vibe with a refined look. Our primary product will be hand painted graphic signs, silhouettes and art on vintage timbers. All wood is reclaimed and most exceed 75 years old. We will incorporate home furnishings & accessories to bring a complete lifestyle aesthetic. We hope there will something for everybody!
When was your first Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market? This will be our first JITT as vendors! We have heard only amazing things and feel extremely honored to be part of it in September.
And what is your favorite part about the event? Or a favorite memory? We love the people and the stories that bring them to these shows. The creative inspiration that comes from rubbing shoulders with other vendors is also a close second.
What’s your favorite place to get away in the summer? Summer, fall, winter, spring…we love any chance to escape to the mountains and stay at our vintage 1960’s A Frame Cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA.
Thank you so much for sharing Ron & Tamara! We are looking forward to having you join us! Head over to facebook to see what One Red Buffalo is preparing for the market!
