We finally have the nursery done! Ok.. there are a few small things left to do (e.g., find a rug, hang lights, pictures in frames, orgainze clothes, etc.), but for the most part it’s complete. Our theme is A Vintage Fairytale. Some things we already had (like the chair and cabinet), so they worked in the nursery but we didn’t buy them specifically for it. We were able to get the look we wanted without spending big bucks. I’ll take you on a picture tour….
We were lucky enough to find the crib, changing table, bassinet, and rocking chair on craig’s list for $400 (bassinet and rocking chair not pictured because they’re in our bedroom). I love the spindle look. Bedding $5 from Goodwill. Vintage quilt from flea market $5. Mattress $50 Amazon.com. Curtain made from Lowe’s drop cloth $8 (Click here to see this project).
Chair $200 from ‘Finder’s Keepers’ in Phoenix.
Chippy cabinet $200 from craigs list.
Vintage clothes on her closet door about $7 total from Brass Armadillo in Phoenix.
Hook from Pier One $10.
Got these amazing lamps from Mable Dear on Etsy, $100 total. We still have to hang them!

Vintage fairytale books, gift from Lindsey. Other items $1-3, Goodwill.
Growth chart $2, Goodwill. I had to change the name on it so I painted my daughter’s name on fabric and sewed it on.
I made this sign from barn wood, $2 from barn sale in Prescott.
Fairytale frame wall $15 from Goodwill; for close-ups of this project click: here.
Bins $15 from TJ Maxx. Little blue chair, $5 Salvation Army in Prescott.
I made this banner from vintage doilies and napkins (found all over) $20. See this project here.
Grand total for the nursery: $1066.00!!
