Personal bio: We have 3 owners at Rusty Saturday, Robert, AKA Rusty Rob who was a contractor for over 20 years before he decided to become a full time junker. He loves having the full time freedom to create amazing things from his daily rusty finds. Angie grew up in Phoenix in the same neighborhood where Rusty Saturday is located. As a mom of 3 boys, creating has always been her escape. Jenna left a 10 year career at The Home Depot to run the business end of Rusty Saturday while Rob and Angie play with junk all day. She runs Rusty Saturday on a daily basis and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
How did you start your business & why? We have been junkin as a hobby for over 20 years and had a booth at Everything Goes for 10 years. In 2013 we decided to make our hobby our full time business
How would you best describe your style and the items you sell? Our style is rusty, and industrial with a just the right amount of shabby mixed in.
When was your first Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market? Our first JITT was in 2013
And what is your favorite part about the event? Or a favorite memory? We absolutely love JITT and look forward to building our booth each time. The bigger the better!
What’s your favorite place to get away in the summer? Getting our toes in the sand is a must at least once a year. Sunset Beach is our favorite!
