I use a lot of different types of paint, but I have a small crush on Milk Paint.  I am working on a tutorial for you on Milk Paint, but I didn’t get the dresser all done in time to get it styled for photos so that will come soon.   So instead, I will tell you why I love it.

*Milk Paint is easy!*

When the paint starts to dry it begins to bubble.  Once it’s completely dry, I just take a scrapper tool (that’s the technical term right?!) and scrape the flakes off and I get amazing chippy goodness!

*It looks authentic*

Old pieces have layers and layers of paint that is chipping off.  If you love that look, this is the paint for you.  Milk paint needs to be mixed with water and can leave a few clumps.  When the clumps get brushed on, it streaks the colors a little bit so you get depth.  You can minimize this by mixing with a mixer, but I love it because it looks authentic. I will go into detail about this on the tutorial.

I use Miss Mustard Seeds Milk Paint because of her colors.  They are beautiful and I love the names of the colors too!
