Two weekends ago, thanks to my wonderful parents, my husband and I got the chance to have a couple nights away without the kiddos. Thanks to my amazing husband we stayed at the beautiful Davenport Hotel in downtown Spokane.
Isn’t it just beautiful. The pictures really don’t do it justice, you’ll have to just take my word for it.
We spent our weekend junkin’ our way around Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. My favorite places to go junkin’ is estate sales and garage sales, we even found a barn sale! We then came across this adorable little shop called Forget Me Not.
We then hit up a few thrift shops on this cute little street in Coeur d’Alene.
And look at all these great treasures we found! We had a wonderful time and my husband made it all day shopping with me!
I just love Spokane and all the old buildings. Everywhere you look there is just amazing old treasures!
And beautiful blue sky and big, puffy white clouds! And lots and lots of GREEN! Love it!
And of course the junkin’ didn’t stop there. On another day my girlies, my mom and I went to the Goodwill and look at some of the fun treasures I found. Not the little lady of course, but look at those great minty green heels, she was quite impressed with them too! And my mom found this great bag of old magazines; several Rolling Stones magazines and a couple Country Gentleman. I just love all the old ads.
This past weekend, my mom had heard about this sale her friend called, the pickers paradise. So of course we had to go and check it out. And it was definately not for the faint of heart. You definately had to do your fair share of picking, but let me tell you it was SOOO worth it. There were some amazing treasures hidden in this mess. In the bottom left picture you can see all the AMAZING things I found and in the bottom right you can see a few of the things my mom found. We had so much fun hunting. That is what its all about! The hunt! And the FIND!
