Pumpernickel and Wry conversation spoons was established in 2011. It began as a way to recycle unwanted silver-plated flatware. Today we continue to recycle those unwanted flatware sets into fun, daily use pieces.
Pumpernickel and Wry conversation spoons are more than just spoons. There is certainly a wide variety of sweet, sarcastic, and sometimes naughty spoons, but we also make wedding and birthday forks, and repurpose those hard to recycle dinner knives into magnetic vases and jewelry. We use every part of the flatware, and stainless steel blades are taken to the metal recycling plant. Nothing goes to waste or to a landfill.
