Description
How about wearing Victorian glass buttons as earrings? Or giving a pair to your friend who adores buttons. These are a one of a kind item.
These glass buttons became fashionable when Queen Victoria went into mourning and only wore black over the loss of her 42 year old spouse Prince Albert. He passed in 1861 from typhoid fever. These glass buttons are from that era. These have a raised gold design with inset paste (rhinestone) setting.
The back of the earring card is marked with the era of the buttons.
