Personal bio: I am an Arizona native. I grew up in buckeye Az….farm girl. I teach 2nd grade. This is my 18 year teaching. I love flea markets and digging in junk piles.
How did you start your business & why? I have always painted and junked as long as I can remember. I started shabby junker for fun… My house was full and I wanted to keep junking. I have a window and door obsession.
How would you best describe your style and the items you sell? I sell chippy salvage windows, doors, screens, and anything vintage and chippy:)
When was your first Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market? I started with the very first junk in the trunk! It’s my favorite market! It’s true Staci has been with us since the backyard!!
And what is your favorite part about the event? Or a favorite memory? So many. I think it is amazing how much it has grown and changed. I love being a part of it. I feel like we are family;) I like meeting all the vendors. I also love meeting customers… And seeing them return to junk…
What’s your favorite place to get away in the summer? In the summer I travel to flea markets in Texas and Cali. I spend a lot of time in the white mountains.
