Personal bio: I am an Arizona native, I grew up in Tucson & came to ASU for college. I am the oldest in my family & have 6 younger siblings.
How did you start your business & why? I started pursuing selling my art a year ago because it was something I had always wanted to do but finally was ready to put myself out there! My art is a reflection of who I am & is a creative outlet that I have complete freedom in which is why I love it!
How would you best describe your style and the items you sell? I will be bringing handmade dreamcatchers, crafted globes, decorated steer skulls & antlers. I make one of a kind pieces that puts a modern bohemian twist on these ordinary items making them extraordinary. My artistic style fits in with the Phoenix desert culture but still brings a sense of unique pieces that cannot be duplicated.
When was your first Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market? My first JITT was as an intern May 3rd, 2014
And what is your favorite part about the event? Or a favorite memory? My favorite memory was watching the days leading up to the event all come together. I loved seeing the whole process from start to finish. This year I am really looking forward to being a vendor & being able to meet shoppers!
What’s your favorite place to get away in the summer? I just got back from vacationing in Amelia Island in Florida & it is my absolute favorite place to escape reality. I love the beach & sunshine!
