Business Name: RestoFab
Personal bio: I grew up in South-Western Colorado and joined the Air Force when I was twenty. During my career I traveled all over the globe. I have always had an artistic side and before I joined the military I used to be a baker and decorate wedding cakes.
How did you start your business & why? During my 20 year career in the Air Force I learned to weld, fabricate and work wood. I have also always loved history, flea markets and antiques. When I retired from the military I combined all my passions and started RestoFab. I have the most fun when I get to re-purpose a forgotten item into an awesome new lamp, table or one of a kind home décor.
How would you best describe your style and the items you sell? I lean towards industrial furniture with a mix of retro and I love anything with good patina (who doesn’t).
When was your first Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market? My first show was the May 2015 show.
And what is your favorite part about the event? Or a favorite memory? Mama’s Cold Brew Coffee…….I also really like the live music!
What’s your favorite place to get away in the summer? Where I grew up……Durango Colorado.
