Business Name: Redhead Sadie Vintage
Personal bio: I have been buying and selling all kinds of vintage items for over 20 years and have enjoyed every minute of it! I am originally from Portland, Oregon and hope to get back there someday. I live and breathe what I do; I am usually researching, hunting, fixing or restoring something vintage most of the time!
How did you start your business & why? Honestly, I have never been happier with a job in my life; I started on eBay in 1999 but had booths starting in 1995. It just kind of happened-painting furniture with a boyfriend led to opening a booth in Mesa 20 years ago. I ran with it!
How would you best describe your style and the items you sell? I am a true vintage girl all the way! I myself love the 40s and 50s fashion and home goods, but I like to appeal to many, so I try to carry items from all different eras. I tend to stop about the mid-1970s.
When was your first Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market? November 2012? The last show inside the tent.
And what is your favorite part about the event? Or a favorite memory? Meeting so many amazing and fun people and sharing my excitement of vintage with them!!
What’s your favorite place to get away in the summer? Anywhere with mountains and trees and cool weather!
Thank you so much Jenny for sharing! Jenny has the best selection of vintage clothing around! Be sure to follow her on facebook to see what she’s preparing for September.
