Business Name: Knee Deep Denim
Personal bio: I’m 22, I have the greatest group of friends here in the 602, along with my entire family. I love country music and 3 cups of coffee a day (anyone with me?!) I can’t paint my own nails to save my life. If its not in my iPhone calendar you can bet I forgot it. I am a diehard for the AZ Cardinals, I prefer NFL to almost anything else on TV except Greys! I’m also the worlds greatest hula hooper.
How did you start your business & why? I’ve always been pretty crafty, my parents both have started their own businesses, so growing up I was allowed to “want to be anything i wanted to be.” All that being said, I had full intentions to go into Real Estate. I even finished my schooling, but this fell into my mind and couldn’t shake it until I saw where it took me. Very thankful God gave me the chance to keep pursuing it.
How would you best describe your style and the items you sell? I like to categorize our clothing line “Street Wear.” We have heavy influences in Vintage style from many decades. Whether a free-spirit hand made kimono is more your style or a throwback styled crop top to match your high waisted Levis, we think everyone at every age can find something perfect for themselves.
When was your first Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market? Spring 2014 (we can’t wait for #4!)
And what is your favorite part about the event? Or a favorite memory? The live music! Are you kidding me? It’s so cute to see people sing while they shop.
What’s your favorite place to get away in the summer? I get to travel a bit for work so I always implement vacations around them… This year so far has been Chicago, Vegas, San Fran, and Newport. (First time at Disney!)
Thank you for the fun introduction RaeAnn! Your denim is one of a kind and we can’t wait for our junkers to experience it first hand! Check out Knee Deep Denim’s Instagram friends!
