I have a slight love hate relationship with Anthropologie. Can anyone relate? Sometimes I can’t even venture into the “wing” of the mall where Anthropologie is in fear I might be tempted to spend diaper money on that shirt that I MUST have. And this is where my problem lies. . . . I LOVE everything in the store, and I HATE that I can’t afford it.
So, If you’re like me, I have a solution! Make it for less! We moved into our house fairly recently, and now that most of the rooms are complete, I have moved onto the bathrooms to decorate. Let’s visit some Anthro eye-candy inspiration, shall we?

I feel head over heels for this ruffled bath curtain, but at $118, it was way out of my decoration budget.
So I did some Pintrest surfing and came across an amazing tutorial by Taylormade (http://www.itstaylormade.com). I took her tutorial, and made it my own. At a quick visit to our local discount fabric store, I purchased 6 yards of fabric for less than $15. A few ruffles later and voila. . . . Anthropology inspired shower curtain for a fraction for the cost.
Do you have an Anthro “knock-off” you’ve made?
