In 2011, Lindsey and I met at Scottsdale Bible Church and instantly bonded over the love of vintage. We gathered 23 of our friends and local vendors and did a pop-up event in my friend’s back yard in Scottsdale. Word spread and we had over 600 people show up, with cars parked for miles down the neighborhood streets! Our husbands instantly saw the need for a local market and the wheels started turning!
The timing wasn’t ideal, Lindsey was pregnant with her 3rd and I had two under 4 at the time, however the Lord had a different plan, and we worked quickly to get another market on the books!
Fast forward 8 years later and we now have over 50,000 people through our gates every year and have worked with thousands of small businesses locally and nationally! Our little business has expanded to much more than we could have ever imagined. The Foundress, a creative women’s networking group, was launched out of our desire to continue to build a community from Junk in the Trunk, and we are set to open a mixed-use building in Phoenix this Fall! We are so blessed by all the support we have had over the years! Here is to many more years of AMAZING JUNK!

Every year, Lindsey and I take a pic in front of our market backdrop. It’s become a fun tradition and a keepsake for us from each market. We thought it might be fun to take a look back as we reflect on 8 years!

// Words From Our Vendors //
We have had the privilege of working with some of the most creative, talented and savvy vendors over the last 8 years. Many of our vendors truly feel like family to us. Here is what a few have shared with us over the years about their experience at our markets.
Watching Junk in the Trunk flourish over the past several years has been an amazing experience. With no detail going untouched, this outstanding event sets the bar high for vintage markets everywhere. During my time as a vendor not only did my business grow, but I was given the opportunity to make genuine connections with customers as well as other vendors. Coley, Lindsay, & Kevin take the time to asses each market, listen to feedback, & make constant improvements for both shoppers & vendors alike.
It’s been truly an honor to be a part of the Junk in the Trunk family.

I think what I love most about being a vendor is the excitement and interest that people express on some of my weirdest fines. That probably makes all the chasing that I do worthwhile. I met some really interesting people many that I still keep in touch with

Wow! What an adventure the last 8 years have been. I am beyond blessed to have been a part of Junk in the Trunk since its humble beginnings. I have watched Junk in the Trunk grow and evolve into the amazing market it is today! From the setup for a new market, to the customers who find that must-have “love”, to the closing of another market, I feel like I’m partying like a junker every step of the way. I feel so privileged to work with the most talented vendors, along with a passionate and awesome Junk in the Trunk team. If the last 8 years is any indication of what’s to come, I can’t wait to see what the next 8 will bring!
