Well the past couple of weeks I have been busy doing some traveling with my family. One of the very fun events that we got to attend was my brother in law’s wedding. And since our theme this month is “Vintage Parties” a wedding is surely the ultimate party! And this wedding definitely did not disappoint. It was chippy, and vintage and beautiful in all the right places. So I decided that I would share some of my favorite elements that made the wedding so beautiful.
One of my favorites was this beautifully, chippy, white sideboard that was used as the candy bar. I think everyone young and old, loved the candy bar. And of course the cake! It was quite beautiful in the turquoise suitcase! Love that idea! And it tasted quite good too, as my daughter would surely tell you as she tested it for everyone.
Instead of a program that just gets thrown away anyway, they had a table set up at the entrance with a chalkboard that listed all the important people in the wedding. And they used this same idea for the seating arrangements for the reception.
The tables at the reception were beautiful with burlap and bright flowers and my favorite was the tea cups with one flower inside. They also had this great sitting area where people took a seat all night and took pictures amongst the vintage decor. The wedding itself took place in front of a set of chippy glass doors! And don’t you just love the “Mr” & “Mrs” signs for the bride and groom at the reception. I’m just joking really because I made those at the last minute and it was my first time, but I love how they turned out.
And I had to leave you with one last picture of this cake. It was just so perfect inside the suitcase! And everyone loved that great sign from one of our great vendors Jaxn Blvd!
