“As you all probably know, this month has been all about kickin’ it old school. With February coming to an end, and this being our last Sunday post of the month, we wanted to spotlight some heirlooms that have been passed down in each of our families. Each of these trinkets and treasures have special meaning and hold great memories, and each has it’s own special story…
Beth
“The Sand Dollar necklace is from my Nana. It’s really special to me because she had the legend of the sand dollar poem on her wall. She never really wore this necklace, but my cousins and I found it in her jewelry box and I knew it would always remind me of spending time at her house.”
“The bracelet is from my other Grandma. She had some CRAZY taste in jewelry, and I have a lot of fun stuff from her, but this is my favorite. It has matching earrings, but I have not been bold enough to wear them!”
Karie
A vintage teapot from Karie’s grandmomther.
Another vintage trinket from Karie’s grandmother.
I have a few heirloom treasures myself, like my grandmother’s jewelry box with
some of her favorite necklaces and rings inside. However, they are all in boxes as I am in the process of trying to move! But perhaps for another post I can show you guys.
Do you have any special family heirlooms in your home? We would love to see! Happy Sunday everyone!
