I always love having Monday’s off. I secretly love knowing that everyone is going back to work, while I get to sleep in and lounge around! However, this past Monday I had a few “business” things to attend to, hence the work-savvy outfit. But after work I got to play! My boyfriend and I went to see Pacific Rim (his idea, not mine) at the Cine Capri theatres in Tempe. It was so INTENSE. Almost to the point where I didn’t realize the action had stopped and there were two people in conversation–it was so much to take in, but it was still a really great movie.

I also had Tuesday off this week! So nice having two off in a row so it actually feels like I’m getting a break from the daily grind. I was able to run some errands and go out for a lunch/movie date with my mom! We saw a documentary at the Harkins Camelback View (over by Fashion Square Mall) called “Twenty Feet From Stardom”. It’s about backup singers to famous artists and their shot at fame. Such an interesting film and I definitely recommend it to anyone, especially music fans.
