***Hey all it’s Mandy again, just stoppin over for a quick little Thursday project***
Anyone who follows me on pinterest knows that I love me a good clipboard wall [this is what I named them…do if you don’t know what I mean it’s ok]. I’ve known for a while that this was something I wanted in my studio, or spare bedroom, but we all know it sounds so much fancier and official when we call it a studio. I love the look of it, and the idea of storing inspiration and ideas, but I also need something functional for keeping organized with all my Etsy orders. So I used a few ideas I’d seen online and added some ideas of my own to make it just right.
Here are two of my favorites, that I used for my inspiration.
I purchased six basic clipboards from Staples. I think the total cost was about $10. Then I pulled out my trusty chalkboard paint…..because if you haven’t noticed I am kind of obsessed with it. I think I am currently living by the mantra that everything is better with chalkboard paint. So back to the wall. I painted to of the clipboards with chalk board paint, and added cork that I had leftover from this project to two other ones. I didn’t glue it down or anything, just clipped it on so that later I could get rid of it if I decided I no longer wanted it.
Currently I am LOVING how it turned out. The chalkboard is perfect for keeping my running list of pillow orders and the another clipboard to hold all the receipts. It doesn’t get much better than this!
