If you follow me on Instagram you know that I got my Christmas tree this last weekend, and greatly enjoyed decorating it. This was my first all by myself tree, which might sound strange but was strangely exciting to me because I could decorate exactly how I wanted.

Although I did have two little helpers……but I may or may not have done some ornament rearranging after they left.

Now the fun part. I went with a mostly vintage vibe with my tree. I had quite a few classic vintage ball ornagments 24 pink from my mom and 18 silver that I got half off after last Christmas at the Goodwill. I found a fun set of vintage looking oraments for $5 at Target that I used to supliment and add a bit more color. Then I topped it all off with this great tree topper. That is not only awesome but it reminds me of my Grandma and her Christmas tree. Tinsel is making a comeback I tell you.

 Oh and of course I have my two new ornaments from my summer travels…..see if you can spot them. On with the Eiffel tower on it that says “I was in Paris” and a red double decker bus from good ol London.
