With all the craziness of the market set up we forgot to mention a very important day. Last Monday was Lindsey birthday YAY! So in honor of her I created some festive decorations to adorn her house, and fill her day with more cheer! I went ahead with a golden theme, because who doesn’t love a little glitz. I must warn you up front that this garland I am about to show you how to make is really cool, only I really don’t think the photos do it justice. So here we go.
As with everything I do, simple is a key word. To make this pretty guy you will only need two possibly three supplies. A string or cord of some kind, and stickers. I used two different sized golden seal stickers, made two separate garlands and then intertwined them.
I’m guessing you know how this is going to finish up. Simply stick two stickers together with the string in-between. Move down a little bit and repeat. You can put them close together or far away and they all look nice.
It would also be very easy to use a couple of extra seals to make cupcake decorations. All you would need to do it put the stickers on a tooth pick instead of string.
These gold seals, I purchased at Staples, they came with directions for printing, which would be yet another way to add a little pizaz or personalization to your decor. You could easily add a birthday message, or someone’s name.
