One of my favorite parts of our business is the opportunity that allows me to travel to unique places and events. Last week Coley and I spent an amazing week at Alt Summit in Palm Springs. Alt always brings the promise of  learning  something new and provides inspiration to fuel the dreams of the next big steps for  Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market.

We stayed at the beautiful Ace Hotel (a dream of Coley’s) just down the street from the conference and if you ever get the chance you should go check it out. Every corner of the property is full of beautiful photo opportunities. From the perfectly manicured grounds to the vintage and retro design elements throughout property, one can’t help but be inspired and refreshed.

We left feeling overwhelmed with excitement and our minds were full of lots of practical ways to better run our business.  One of the most rewarding things about Alt Summit though is the relationships that you have the opportunity to build. Whether it’s meeting someone you admire from afar on Instagram for the first time or catching up with a long-time friend,  I absolutely LOVE the in-between times where we get to connect with other creatives going through all the same things we are and just talk and laugh!

The conference was definitely one for the books at the picture worthy, colorful Saguaro hotel.  Until next time Palm Springs…..
