I have a lot of really special old pictures. One day I plan to have a giant wall (in my dream house of course) full of old pictures of our families. Right now, I have no huge wall, so I had to choose a few of my favorite. Here is what I started with…
I liked this, but I felt it was a bit cluttered looking for the design of the room. And yes, I was watching City Slickers… so good!
I went to ikea and bought some simple white frames, but wanted to keep a few vintage frames so it wasn’t too put together, because that isn’t my personality… I’m always a little off!
I am missing a frame and a picture, but it’s almost done.
The top left picture in the photo below is my dad as a baby… he was #12 of 12 kids. I want to one day have a picture of each of my aunts and uncles too. The picture on the top right is Justin’s dad in 1940! And below that is my great grandparents who I never got to meet. Lots of great history.
This is my grandpa that passed away this May. He was so handsome!
How cute is that little blonde? That’s my hubby as a kid!
Little story about this one… my grandpa (above) worked on Sandra Day O’Conner’s ranch as a head cowboy. She sent him this picture of her with President Regan in the Oval Office. How cool is that?!?! Thank you Heather from Birdie Girl Photographie for all the great pictures! Follow her on Instagram @heatherlil and her blog birdiegirlphotography.blogspot.com
