We are having our third boy in June and I have been stumped what to do for his nursery. The other boys had vintage baseball, but I was a little sick of it so I decided to change it up. We needed to keep the red because we had everything and it was cheaper (did I mention I was cheap?!)
We are using the rug we had in our old family room and I just bought an antique rocker with great fabric that matches. More on that later, I haven’t picked it up yet. I was out shopping the other day and found this great galvanized bucket with a 3 on it so I had to get it. I am thinking it will hold little toys. I love how the old BINGO set looks too! Are you wondering what that stick is? Well, it is a horse measuring stick that is huge! Taller than me. We are going to use it as a growth chart for the boys. Here is the inspiration so far… What do you think? Any ideas?

Coley,
Congratulations on boy #3! I have 3 boys too, but one lives in Liverpool now so I guess I can’t refer to him as a boy anymore! Anyway, I love the old bingo game. How about building on that theme and decorating with vintage game boards and their box tops. I have a great-looking Chinese Checkers game that I want to frame for our rec room. The boxtop would be really neat framed too. Using Scrabble letters is fun in projects, and I have recently seen some wooden vintage letter tiles that are about 5 times the size of the regular Scrabble ones. They would show up a lot better. Some of the old Checkers boards have great graphics too. Have fun!
Good ideas! Thank you!
Looks like you have a pretty good start for a masculine vintage style :] If I wasn’t so young and broke when I had my son, maybe he would have had a themed nursery… hmm? Lol! But if I do have another boy, I think thats what I would go for… you have good taste ;] Good luck, can’t wait to see the reveal!
I am young and broke too! Ha! Thanks! I will share the details as they happen
