Who likes a nice easy five minute project? If the answer is you, prepare yourself, it may very well take you longer to read this post than it took me to finish the whole thing [not including drying time of course]. This is what I like to call a handy dandy mail sorter.
In it’s previous life this was a gold toast holder. I bought it at a thrift store for under a dollar. Of course I forgot to take a before picture because that is what I am good at. So just imagine it was an ugly gold, instead of white. The turquoise was still there, which is what initially caught my eye – I knew it had potential and would match my place perfectly. All I did was cover the pretty part with painters tape and give it a coat of antique white spray paint and the rest is history.
Now I have a pretty place to store and sort all of my mail. I thought about staging the photo and putting some pretty mail in there, to make it look all fancy for you all. But then reality set in, I don’t really get pretty mail, does anyone? Only bills…bills, bills [now that I am singing Destiny's Child I leave you until next week].

Super cute! And I love the table it’s sitting on too!
Loving this idea. I’ve been looking at ideas on the net for some kind of mail holder and this looks about the easiest to make while still looking pretty cool.
Thank you for sharing.

I just found you through the Everything Under the Moon link up party. This is such a cute idea – I know we always mail dumped on our entry table so maybe something like this, or a pretty box, would keep it looking tidy at least! Love the pop of turquoise
