I want to start today by apologizing in advance for a very random post. But I wanted to share with you what we have been up to. We have been working on several projects and in the process of moving things around. So first off I want to show you a sneak peak of what my current project. It is taking me a lot longer to sand the thing than I thought, but it will be worth it in the end.
This past weekend we finally got our new table in the kitchen! Now it is definitely still a work in process, not the table itself, but the whole setup. The table is a lot smaller than we are used to in this space. And our benches are actually longer than the table itself and don’t push under the edge of the table. Needless to say the benches are definitely going to have to go and we need to find some chairs. I would love to find some smaller benches for maybe the ends of the table so they could fit underneath, but we will see. So here is what it looks like in its new home.
And I almost forgot to tell you, my dad made us another amazing light! Check it out! This one is slightly smaller and has a rod coming down from the ceiling instead of just the cord. It looks great in the space! Now we just need to get us some industrial looking stools!
And so the farmhouse table found a new home in the formal dining room. It fits perfectly in the space and looks awesome under the industrial light! Now I just need to find some more seating for the table.
And one more thing I crossed off my list this week was getting an “H” for miss Hadley to go on the frame wall in the girls room.
See very slowly but surely we are getting things done and yes in a very random order, but at least its a few less things to cross off my list.
