I have been drooling over this Pottery Barn Burlap Advent Calendar for a year now.

 I didn’t get it because of the price and when I finally talked myself into buying it (I am pretty good at that!) it was sold out   So what do we do in that situation…

DIY of course!

Here are the supplies I started with.

Drop Cloth from Home Depot

Sissors

Vintage Stamp Set

Ruler

And…

ICE CREAM of course!

I cut 25 squares

Stamped the numbers 1-25 on each one

My boys helped me clean the stamps

Lay out the pockets to decide how big you need your background then hot glue your pockets to the background.

I need to add some way to hang it and maybe some ribbon details.  What do you think- any ideas to spruce it up?
